This shrine is known for its Goddess KonohanaSakuya-Hime,
who is the goddess of Mt.Fuji
and Sakura Trees
It is also the shrine of horse, fortune, divination, and Omikuji(fortune paper)
It is said that this shrine was built on the tip of the Kenmarubi-lave flow from Mt. Fuji by Sakanoue-no-tamuramaro shogun in 807C.E.
The shrine is worshiped as the guardian of this land by the people of
the Fuji-Hokuroku region.
